Goomba Race
The Goombas are a race of creaturesd foundin all most all Mario games, and it made its 3D debut it Super Mario 64. Goombas are weak creatures, and hop about. Most Goombas can be killed by jumping on them, or shooting them.

History
At the very start, even before Mario and Luigi were born, Goombas used to be friends with the toads. However, this realationship was short lived as the Goomba's joined the Koopa troop, and responded to the commands of Bowser. However, the Koopa troop got defeated, so only the Goombas who were friends with the Mushroom Kingdom remain.
Appearance and Personallity
Goombas are the weakest creatures in the game and can usually be flattened like a pancake. Goombas will die if they are shot, jumped on or puched normally. For some strange reason, Goombas wiggle there eye balls before going over a ledge.
Types of Goombas: Goomboss, Paragoomba
